Networking, Training and Support for your Business | |

| | | | | | The Hidden Art Tailored Support Programme has been expanded in 2008, incorporating a larger focus on tailored progression for UK designers and designer-makers and design businesses. This more targeted approach is combined with the usual selection of opportunities, taking into account members’ busy schedules and responding to their specific requirements with a menu of options. There has also been a revamping of the exciting Innovative Routes to Market Programme. Opportunities are colour-coded into All members, UK and London, Level 2 members (including Innovative Routes to Market members) and Innovative Routes to Market Members only. The programme can easily be split into Key Support and Individual Programmes. |
| | | | Key Support is split into Scheduled Events, which happen at specific times throughout the year, and Permanent Resources. Scheduled events: · Networking Sessions are held on the first Wednesday of the month at Hidden Art, free to all designer-makers. · One-to-one Consultancy Sessions last for one hour, with Pool of Specialist members who will cover the key topics: Product Development, Funding and Selling. Permanent Resources: · Support Vouchers can be applied for by level 2 members and grant £100 to pay for up to 50% of a training, consultancy session, or support service from a Hidden Art Associate member or Pool of Specialists member, or for a research visit to a trade fair. · The Hidden Art Library, located at the Hidden Art office in London, covers international design markets, copywriting books, an archive of the top design magazines and more. |
| | | | Individual Programmes cover a great range of design related topics. Event and project support is on constant offer for those involved directly with Hidden Art initiatives and trade show appearances. Meanwhile, the Innovative routes to Market Programme offers scheduled individual programmes throughout the year. See here for more information on Hidden Art's Innovative Routes to Market. Innovative Routes to Market: · Making it Digital sees The UK Designers and Designers-Maker Support Organisation at Hidden Art Cornwall getting involved, in conjunction with the Research Cluster at University College Falmouth. · 1-2-1 Surgery sessions offer the chance to discuss product development. |
