Run in association with the Polymer Centre at London Metropolitan University, the Hidden Polymers Programme assists designer-makers from concept through to final design using polymers, either on their own or teamed with other materials.

 

The industry experts at the Polymer Centre offer 1-2-1 support and advice within a structured programme. Information regarding materials and processes, techniques and tooling costs will help you develop your idea along the best route to suit your market.

For those who have had an initial 1-2-1 with the Hidden Polymer centre, there is now an opportunity to extend CAD skills and ask advice from one of London Metropolitan Universitys highly skilled, Senior lecturers.

 

A day of hour long CAD 1-2-1 sessions have been arranged for 30th April. They will run at hourly increments from 10am until 4pm. They will available on a first come, first served basis and can be booked on the Innovative Routes to Market registration for initiatives form.

 

 

 

The CAD 1-2-1 session will enable you to produce a CAD drawing for your portfolio, or if you have a CAD model (either in IGES or DXF format or illustrator) bring this design and use the session to develop it.

 

You will need to take along either a sketch of the product, or an existing CAD file, including the approximate dimensions if you do not know exact sizing.

 

The 1-2-1 slots are available on a first come, first served basis and can be booked on the Innovative Routes to Market registration for initiatives form.

 

 

 

Those of you involved in Hidden Polymers and in need of another 1-2-1 session with Peter Cracknell, please sign up. There will be 6 time slots available to the first Polymers participants to respond.
