London based designer Piyush Suri creates luxury Fashion Accessories and Home Products.
 
Piyushgraduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Londonin 2003 completing an MA in Design for Textiles Futures. With overseven years of experience working in India and the UK, he launched hisown label ' PIYUSH SURI' in October 2005.
 
Integrating thetraditional and the contemporary, Piyush marries two oppositedirections together to create his own personal expression that issophisticated and universal. Using natural fabrics such as silks, linenand organic cotton Piyush plays with unconventional yet refined colourscreating a very contemporary feel.
 
He currently sells hisethical and fair trade collection to many boutiques and galleries inthe UK and Ireland. His list of clients includes The National Gallery,The British Museum and The Tate Britain. The company also works withinterior designers and architects to create bespoke textiles andfurnishings for residential projects.
 
2008 saw new textileapproaches, with a new collection of hand block printed scarves alongwith signature style laser cut scarves, hand screen printed cottonshopping bags, very contemporary and affordable and a wide range ofdesigner cushions and throws.
