Wawa was launched in 1998 as part of Hidden Art Open Studios when Richard Ward invited Lucy Wassell to exhibit her rugs alongside his furniture designs. The response was so positive that Richard’s studio / workshop became the permanent Wawa showroom and soon became a destination for those seeking for high-quality, individual and stylish interior products. 

Wawa sofas are designed and made in the UK. They are upholstered with the greatest care and attention to detail using the best of both modern and traditional materials. We use hand-tied springs over a solid beech frame for maximum comfort and durability. We understand that choosing a sofa is a very personal thing - all our sofas are made to order so we can customise certain features to suit you. Because quality is as important to us as innovation - our sofas are pieces that will last and last. 

Our collection includes contemporary takes on old classics, modern modular seating, chaise-longues, settees, armchairs and folding sofa beds. Fabrics are on display in our showroom and samples mailed on request.
