Esther Coombs drawn on ceramics range has established itself as a new force in the medium of Ceramics, receiving acclaim in national magazines and major craft shows. What makes my work unique is both its physical and narrative qualities—I find vintage pieces and rewrite their stories by adding my own with my illustrations. This up-cycling has captured the attention of both critics and consumers, the main aim is to transform lost gems into new,desirable items. After collecting discarded ceramic pieces at boot sales andcharity shops, I draw directly onto the ceramics and present them, either as new tea sets, constructed cake stands, or beautiful serving.
